A Michigan-based FAQs document specific to Michigan employers and employees has also been created along with a cheat sheet on the Families First Act (FFCRA) and CARES Act. The cheat sheet explains the Who What When and Tax Credit associated with the Families First Act and the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, Direct Payment to Individuals, Payroll Taxes and Payroll Tax Credit under the CARES Act.
As states begin to re-open, employers can also find general considerations in a Return to Work Checklist and Return to Work Template document within this resources folder. Employers must continue to follow the CDC, WHO, and state guidance to maintain a safe workplace while also complying with multiple employment laws. These documents include general considerations for employers as well as a template to send to employees planning on returning to the office.
